|1. Reservoir Tour|
|River Spree Cycle route: Cycle along the River Spree Cycle route to Bautzen’s reservoir, From there you have the possibility to ride along the small dam wall to reach the viewpoint of the 178m high Lubasberg where you have a panorama across the reservoir towards Bautzen. At the Niedergurig Ponds you will see the 800 year old giant oak, which stands under nature protection. (Route length: approx 14 km)
Tip: If you would like to ride a little further, then you can continue along the Spree cycle route to enjoy the idyllic landscape of the Niedergurig Ponds or you can join the "Sorbian Impressions" cycle route.
|2. Tour to the Dinosaur Park and its environs|
|"Sachsen Historic City Route": (red "S"): Ride northwards along the Sachsen Historic City Route out of Bautzen in the direction of Salzenforst. About 1km after Temritz you come to a crossroads with the K7274. If you turn right here the road brings you into Kleinwelka. You will immediately see the entrance to the Dinosaur Park., Dinosaur Garden the Maze and Miniature Park. You can find meals and refreshments in the parks and in the immediate area. For an alternative return journey from Kleinwelka you can take the excellent cycle path along the B96 into Bautzen.

|3. Spree Valley Tour|
|Short - Follow the Spree Cycle route southwards out of the city through Humboldthain to Grubschütz. Directly on the route you can find the Bautzen Spree Bathing Centre. Refreshments are available in Grubschütz and along the Spree Cycle route. (Route length: approx 7 km)
Medium - Ride along the Spree Cycle Route via Grubschütz to Obergurig. Refreshments available in Obergurig
(Route length: approx 15 km)
Challenging - Follow the Spree Cycle Route further up river via Grubschütz, Obergurig, Großpostwitz, Rodewitz and Kirschau to reach Schirgiswalde
(Route length: approx 40 km)
|Sachsen Historic City Route:: Follow the Sachsen Historic City Route out of Bautzen in an Easterly direction until you reach Niederkaina, and on the right a short detour leads you to the Napoleonic Battlefield of 1813. After that continue on to Kreckwitz, Zieschütz, Jenkwitz, Rabitz und Auritz. Returning towards Bautzen the route takes you along Findlingsweg, and past an observatory and a Nature Park. There are refreshments available along the route.
(Route length: approx 12-17 km – some parts not on dedicated cycle paths.)
